China, Bahrain, Russia - these are some of the countries on the 2014 F1 calendar that do not necessarily advocate the same values the Western world is built upon. Along with Hungary, which hasn't always been a democratic one and still questioned to be one nowadays. Also, there is Azerbaijan in talks.
Not unusual, though. After all, many of the races that counted towards the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in the late '30s (and many more which didn't) were held in countries that were - well - judged to be the bad guys after WWII cleared up.
Also, Ferrari and Mercedes were the big thing.
Just saying, nothing to see.

Russia and China are permanent members of the UN Security Council, and Bahrain hosts a U.S. naval base, so everything is fine, everyone is happy, put the camera away.
